The MG is managed by an energy management controllers (EMCs) that coordinates the dispatch of energy in the MG by interacting with information from other EMCs. This information can be interacted with through a communication network. Therefore, BSs are the main intermediaries between communication and energy systems.
To describe the access mechanism between the EMCs and the BSs, we introduce an N b s × N m g connection matrix A, where N m g is the EMCs number and N b s is the number of power towers which is also the number of candidate locations for base stations. It is not necessary for all power towers to be selected as communication power sharing towers.

In the light of this, the proposed study aimed to analyse a 5G BS for energy conservation by implementing N policy in two different sleep modes while accounting for bulk arrival. Additionally, consideration was given to the feedback case and the retrial case.
