In order to couple a solar inverter with a PV plant, it's important to check that a few parameters match among them. Once the photovoltaic string is designed, it's possible to calculate the maximum open-circuit voltage (Voc,MAX) on the DC side (according to the IEC standard).
As shown earlier, the PV inverter control requires two real-time ISR's: one is for the closed loop control of the DC-DC stage and the other for the closed loop control of the DC-AC stage. The C2000 Solar Explorer Kit project makes use of the “C-background/C-ISR/ASM-ISR” framework.

Fig. 2. PV power installed in Europe. In PV systems connected to the grid, the inverter which converts the output direct current (DC) of the solar modules to the alternate current (AC) is receiving increased interest in order to generate power to utility. Many topologies are used to this purpose.
The input section of the inverter is represented by the DC side where the strings from the PV plant connect. The number of input channels depends on the inverter model and its power, but even if this choice is important in the plant design, it does not affect the inverter operation.
The power control structure for the PV system connected to the grid is in the range of 1–5 kW. The full bridge inverter connected to the grid across the LCL filter is shown in Fig. 11. Fig. 11. Injected power control structure.
